I can't wait to see the finished version of this program.

I don't normally overclock or overvolt my cards, but I would really like to have a fan profile that is actually safe for the card and runs the fan at 100% as soon as the card reaches 70C

The stock fan profile is HORRIBLE!

I know right, its like why does EVGA or Nvidia show it as 80% in the first place... It will wear the life of the fan down a bit but who cares. 20% more rpm's = cooler card = better overclock ... I wish they just made it say 100% so we didn't know it was at 80% its so funny that its even like this.  I for one am all for this firmware mod if they wont unlock that.. just watching that video of kingpin pwn those 680s makes me pissed they wanna not let the user take full advantage of our GPU's... MAYBE, just maybe that could change, but hey... I'm not the one calling the shots...  After all, we buy these things to push them to the limit. Lets do thisssssssssssssss

Tombi are you creating this program by yourself? If so you should get yourself a pat on the back, this program looks incredible compared to the command line nvflash! Could you PM the program?

I'm not sure what happened to Tombi, but it has been weeks since I have seen him. I think he just is busy. I don't believe that the project is dead. Just severely delayed.

Nvidia probably hired a hitman to take him out. They don't like people trying to modify their products anymore.

Would anyone have a copy of the modded classy bios with 1.21v and expanded power limit?  I asked Tombi he said he was working on the tool and couldn't send it but that was about a month ago.  PM me if you wouldn't mind sending me a copy thanks.

Lol. I sometimes wonder how they feel about those awesome little programs "HyperSLI" (which lets you SLI on non-SLI boards) and "DifferentSLI" (which lets you run totally different models of cards in SLI together)

Maybe once he says it is done he will post a link ,but do you really want to use a unfinished program ?If so buy me a 680 since you don't seem to care about throwing money away  :)

Until he comes out of hiding here ya go....

1.) Download the BIOS Editor.
2.) Use GPUZ to extract your VGA bios, and make a copy into the KGB folder, and a backup elsewhere.
3.) Hold Shift + Right Click in the KGB folder.
4.) Select "Open Command Window Here"
5.) In the command promp, type "kbg.exe [Your Saved Bios Name].rom unlock"
6.) Download FireStorm and install it. (The install screens are in another language, just keep clicking where the "Yes/Accept" button normally is.
7.) Run Firestorm, click on the "BIOS" button, locate your modded bios that is in the KGB folder, and flash it.
8.) Restart, enjoy!

works with any 600 cards 150 power, 1.2 volts, and 100% fan
I havent tried it but apparently people are getting good results here ya go!

5a.) In the command prompt, type "kbg.exe [Your Saved Bios Name].rom fix_checksum"

The software is still in development.
Everything works fine.

kbg.exe seems to be a nice software, but wait: The "Green Light Killer" (nGLK) will also have a command line functionality. You will be able to use both: GUI and/or command prompt.

I love your jokes on this thread.
Yes, I'm able to modify every Kepler-BIOS. The tool will do this, too.
I have already modded the .47 bios few months ago. I will upload it later again or perhaps there will be a first version of the upcoming tool.

You guys like to modify VESA tables? So I will work on this now - add these more features. Any more wishes?
