Hiii, I've built a new computer with a DG87, and I'm very happy with the performance. The only problem is, it's kind of ugly. Here's a pic of my setup (before i completely finished it - sorry old pic) See the yellow/red cables sticking out? I want to get rid of all of those. there are more of them sticking out of my video card. I saw another setup that had super pretty looking cables everywhere. Can anyone explain how/where I can get something like those?

Cabelmod has kit for most popular PSU and if you wan't you could create your own length and coloring in the configurator. https://cablemod.com/
Lazy or not Lazy. That's not a question.

cablemod did a great job on my set but i would advise to avoid the dual 6+2pin for the GPU's. its near impossible to get the second one to look good.

It's not hard to hide cables behind motherboard tray. For colorful PSU cables you need to use or when you replace PSU choose some EVGA G2/P2/T2 or GS/PS models and than you can buy nice White or Black cables. Solution could be and extensions for CPU, 24pin and VGA power cables but I don't like extension, they make more mess inside, more connectors and spoil power quality. Influence is not big but again that's two reason because I don't like them. White or Black Sleeve will fit perfectly in your DG-87. It's so nice case, it's bad because can't be send easy as mouse. I could use DG-87 next 5 years easy. This new line of MSI Titanium motherboards fit perfect with EVGA ACX 3.0

Hey, thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm a busy dude and haven't really had time to finish everything up yet. Here's what I have so far: For some reason, the pictures don't do it much justice. In person it looks amazing. The blue/red color scheme is gorgeous, and the aesthetics are getting better as I adjust things. It still needs some work though. Step 1: find a good home for the LED strips. As you can see, they're dangling at the moment, as I haven't bothered to attach them permanently. Can anyone suggest a good place to stick them so they will provide good illumination, but wont be in the way? Step 2: Deal with the other cables. The following cables are visible and extremely ugly with red/yellow/white wires sticking out from the braided covering: -the cables connecting to my GPUI -the 24 pin -the two 6-pin power cables attached to the top of my mobo I would like to re-route and or replace each of those cables in such a way that they're minimally visible, and color-coordinated. This is my first time secondary cables, so I'm not sure what I should get. Someone provided this link http://www.evga.com/Products/ProductList.aspx?type=10&family=Power+Supplies&chipset=+Power+Supply+Cable+Set+(Individually+Sleeved)
Which is awesome, but I'm not sure exactly which cables to purchase. I have an EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750B Bronze Power Supply. It seems that the 16-pin is not modular/detachable, and it's too short to route through the gromets, so it seems I'll have to purchase an extension of some type. Can anyone recommend which cables I should purchase to suit my needs for this setup? Thanks

Power Supply Cables from EVGA Site are only for G2/P2/T2 and GS/PS models. That mean Gold, Platinum and Titanium.

I just use cable extensions. It's a bit more to manage in the back of the case but there's so much room in this case. And easier to just plug into an existing rig without pulling all of your wiring out. They work with any PSU since they don't plug directly into it Then you just buy the ones you need instead of a full kit. Silverstone and Bitfenix are good quality sleeving. I am using all Silverstone in white. I wouldn't mix and match brands in case of color difference and texture of the cables. There is little to no power difference I can see. You can run the risk of more resistance with longer power lines, but the length is so minimal, the power will not drop enough to pose a problem. Still waiting on final touches to arrive before I post how mine looks. I put my LEDs towards the front/right of the case, behind the EVGA plexi piece, adjacent from the factory installed strip. This provided nice accent lighting without being too crazy bright, and the strip is totally hidden. Also went magnetic so I can move them wherever I want without adhesive. I'd put one there and then the other along the bottom, next to the PSU. Totally hidden with a nice mix of color. That's my opinion. Also replacing the factory installed strip. Doesn't hold color well, and can see it already turning yellow. Simple to replace.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. It sounds like going with some individually braided extension cables is going to be the best strategy for me to clean things up. I'll probably pick some up this weekend. I was thinking of going with cablemod, because their products look very nice. However, the more I think about it, the more it seems like it would be smart just to go with cables from EVGA - the guys I know, love, and trust. Speaking of loving and trusting EVGA: I got an email from [link=mailto:James@EVGA]J[/link]ames @EVGA today. He offered to send a replacement LED strip to me (because I mentioned something about mine yellowing here in the forums). Very cool! I didn't even have to call the customer service number. They contacted me first. Thanks guys!

Just to make sure you are clear, though, it sounds like you are referring to the PSU replacement cables, not the extensions as I am pretty sure cablemods and EVGA only make replacement cables, not extensions.. I am referring to the cheaper option, which would be extensions, these plug into your already existing cables, not replace them, giving you more length to route them nicely. like these: https://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Extension-Motherboard-Connector-PP07-MBW/dp/B00B46XJQ6 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812162040 Just making sure you knew what I was referring to so you don't buy the wrong thing.

Oh man, that is a beautiful case! I ordered a couple of carbon colored modmesh extensions as well as a dual 8-pin pci cable. Hopefully everything will be nice and neat once they're all installed. Now of course I have to wait 2 weeks for the shipment to arrive from China #firstworldproblems
