1070 sc, can we get a final word on vrm issue?

So I can't find a straight answer. Is the 1070 SC gaming affected by this whole vrm/vram issue? Is the card going to catch fire? My understanding is no. The vrm issue comes down to a hotspot on the ftw PCB that is not there on the reference PCB used by the SC versions. Does the vrm get hot? Yes...

1070 FTW Hybrid issue with games

Help please. I'm trying to play Skyrim Special Edition and Cities Skyline and my 1070 FTW Hybrid is artifacting and/or freezes. I've just finished putting the new computer together on Nov 1st. Weird base voltage?

Hey, i've just noticed my FTW going hot in idle and the voltage is 1043.. When i use the default button it goes back to 800 something but goes again very high.. Any ideas? oO Is it because i ran it full power in management settings in nvidia? thanks..
