Fans go full throttle when gaming since last BIOS update, GTX 1060 SC (06G-P4-6163-KR)

Decided to install the latest BIOS version (86.06.39.00.62) like recommended after entering my serial number but ever since, my fans go absolutely nuts when I launch games. Any way I can fix this or is there any way to rollback to the previous version? Help would be appreciated..

Received my thermal mod for the 1080 but wanted to use Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste...

3 weeks old cards that overheat , charging me money for shipping for those stupid power links and now a broken website that doesn't let me download their precision xoc . I log in and accept their blah blah terms and hit download from standalone version and it takes me right back to the main evga..
