I'm curious, if I buy from Amazon right now, how do I know if im not getting a card with a possible VRM issue?? Is there anyway to order a card right now with thermal pads built in and bios already updated?..

any special discount for ftw users to buy ftw hybrid kit?

according to us evga official website, 1070 ftw is $460 and the ftw hybrid kit is $120.so if there is no any discount for ftw users, then ftw users who want to upgrade its cooling to hybrid need to pay $460+$120=$580 in total???1070 ftw hybrid is $490. very appealing. i have never though a acx 3.0 h..

Slightly higher than usual idle clock, is this normal?

My 1070 would sit at 139Mhz when it was idle and just using Chrome (hardware acceleration off), but after a driver update, it starts at 139Mhz and at a seemingly random time when I'm away from the computer and clocks slightly up to 632Mhz...I haven't been able to reproduce this through running anyth..

EVGA new card supply issues

EVGA just said my RMA will be delayed due to stock issues, and that the warehouse doesn't have an ETA yet of when the parts will be in (I'm assuming they mean memory and cores from nvidia?) Does this mean nvidia can't keep up with demand? how long should I be prepared to wait, realistically? weeks, ..

Custom Thermal Mod Applied

So i have bought some 24mm x 120mm EK 2,0mm strips for the VRM, i checked the vram on 1070 FTW everything was good so no need for pads there. the EK pads have a 3,5w/mk thermal conductivity also used Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Thermal Paste. Idle temp: 24C Mild OC for gaming: core +122 memory +300..

1070 ftw bios 86.04.1E.72

I'm trying to determine if I need to do a bios update...my bios is different that the others I have seen for the 1070 FTW. Do I need to update and is there any significance to my different bios? Thanks for any feedback..

GTX 1080 FTW BIOS update no longer overclocks? (UPDATE: Problem with Precision XOC)

Hi,I had my card stable with a +95 core that would boost to 2113. After the bios update I noticed that my card no longer boosts over 2025... I'm on 375.76 driver and precision xoc to 6.0.9.Anybody else had this problem?Thanks...
