USB Question Z170 Stinger Windows 7

Does the USB for keyboard and mouse now work when installing windows 7 when you change to windows 7 in bios? What bios would I need to do this? also is it safe to update 1.03 bios to the newest bios?..

Help! Bios Update

I updated my bios got a CMOS CheckError. pressed skip. Bios has updated to 1.09 should I worry about that Checkerror everything seems fine Able to boot into windows 10 and also able to shut down and turn back on without seeing it..
