Well I am not the only one that does it, for me it's a secondary function, they act as a light function, always handy, this way I will never need to use more light source to produce me more light when I type and such.

As for colored lighting I prefer blue, since it gives me a comfortable background also, it gives my systems a neater and better look than some boring system without a light and all, but since you have no window it's 200% obvious you don't use or need lighting in them in the first place, everything I build in my systems has an important function and that goes for the hardware as the lighting,as for my age I am 34, I hope you don't have a problem with that, it's that most normal people simply don't have a problem with that

Really, when it comes to PC/Workstation/Server building it comes to perfection and without lights it's not complete for me, thus not perfect.

Due to my autism I have an own way of building and it only improves per detail per build, as your quote of me being the only one here that has lights and leds in a case, please if you are willing to look at the previous posts on the previous pages, there you will clearly see that there are more case modded builds in this topic that have lighting like mine, so as a fact it's the other way around man

My rule for building workstations, Servers & PC's has a simple rule that says it all:
If things don't have a purpose, they won't be added, if they do, they will be added, simple and plain

But hey we all have different tastes as PC building goes, I do adore the Lian Li you chose though, are those case wheels from Aluminum also and do they have rubber padded wheels?

They are aluminum wheels, with rubber grooves

Thanks, its in a Lian Li PC-V600FX. Its still somewhat of a work in progress. It needs a SSD upgrade and possible a GPU upgrade but i really love the case

Hay nice man, I am working on anew build also even that progress is kinda slow, it's for Project G34 a system I shall name Valkyrie SMP 2013, which you can see here:
http://forums.evga.com/fb.ashx?m=1993057

The Motherboard I will reobtain hopefully this month, when I have mounted it in the case I will make some new pics, then I just need a HD 6990, some ram and the CPU's cooler to get it all up and running, it should give you this idea:

I plan to run the HD 6990 as main VGA and use the EVGA GTX 480 as dedicated CUDA & PhysX card with the help of GenL PhysX hack, which is this program:
http://physxinfo.com/news/?s=GenL

I can also emulate CUDA  with the HD 6990 via OpenCL 1.2 which I can do with this handy fix:
http://www.techpowerup.co...ator-for-every-pc.html

Anyways there are plenty project I want to support with my new system.

Here some shots of the case from the front angled view:

And from the side:

These pics are old, but it will look like this once the mobo and the 6990 are here
The CPU's just arrived 3 days ago:
http://forums.evga.com/fb.ashx?m=1994942

But yeah I only need the Mobo ram and CPU coolers for a first boot, I have plenty of VGA cards here to test it on first boot, but when the HD 6990 arrives I can finally start the real work with it.

That's a very nice setup you have there. Very nice job.

@GL, The G34 setup looks good. I've thought about doing a dual or quad G34 build, but the cost of motherboards absolutely kills me. You can get some killer deals on 12 and 16 core CPU's on Ebay now.

Here's my first and only Li so far:

PC-Q07B ITX form factor

The mods for airflow:

The system:
Z77 Stinger
Dominator DDR3 2000MHz
Antec 620
2600k
EVGA 650Ti
EVGA Nex650 Gold PSU

Nice little Lian Li setup there Zophar You could even try getting one of them ASUS GTX 670's and replace the 650 Ti if ever needed, as that ASUS made the world's shortest GTX 670 that is air cooled too:

Well I got my two 8 Core OpteronMP 6140 D1's for 127 USD incl shipping from a goo friend from 2CPU.com :P
Not even ebay can beat that, 16 cores @ 2.6Ghz for just 127USD incl Shipping from USA to NL even no custom taxes either

I got 16 cores @ 2.6Ghz even cheaper than the cheapest Core i3 rofl xD That saved me lots of money in the long run
