ive seen many of these that are amazing but is it me or maybe its the gif but the ball seems edited in. the last bounce is in thin air and the second bounces angle is all wrong.

Yep well spotted they couldn't get it right so they just faked it, right at the end the ball just disappears it doesn't land in the cup. The second bounce angle is correct given the angle of the table is higher than it looks at first.
As they say you can fool some of the people all of the time ...

when he throws the ball it hits the plywood sheet fine, desk then a fake (midair) bounce then vanish, though the first desk/table hit looks like that's where the edit starts.

I recon they removed the board and a guy sat there and just threw it in. The direction of the ball looks like its being short lobbed it is about the right height for someone who is crouched lying down to be about throwing height.

Why hide?
