Has anyone realized that plastic pennies are worth more than real pennies? 
I can just imagine how the academic mind works. You're a grade school administrator and they tell you a part of the curriculum is teaching 2nd graders how to count money. So the administrator thinks to himself...gee, no way we can use real money to teach the students because they'll steal all the coins or try to put them in their mouth and choke on them. How do we address the issue? We pay 3x as much for counterfeit plastic US currency made in China. We also will buy it because a proper "WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD" disclaimer is attached to these shifting legal liability to the end user for eating them. With real money no such legal disclaimer exists so they'll sue us for using real money...lol
