I was excited till I saw it's actually a Acer. Acer isn't exactly a great brand anymore. Still not a bad price for such a large screen.

Yes, IPS have a greater range of viewing angle.

Brad's advice is quite sound and worth the extra 50 bucks but what I do like about the Acer is the 3 year warranty on that model

Cant wait till the 1440 ISP 120Hz monitors are on the market for that price. It will happen, just gonna be a few more years.
