Teach you how to get to 229?  I can't really do anything in 229 without 'extraordinary' cooling methods.

Thanks, the more expensive one has the esa (599).  The label on it says peak power 1400 w (110A), while the label on the 499 model say peak @ 1300w (100A).  Could this account for the price dif, or is the price dif because of the useless esa?

The last image hasn't come thru yet, but your point is a good one nate.  Sometimes it's not all about cpu frequency.  You might even see a drop in your cpu score if you go higher.  Man that was one blistering physx run....I bet you could hardly believe your eyes watching that sucker.  And when it didn't crash, you probably jumped through the roof!

The image was me SPANKING the monkeys CPU score. 
 but yea, I couldn't believe that run.  It  started in the 240's, and then slowly came down.  I almost fell over.
