i was doing that last night... I would save bios profile after every successful test. when I got to 220, I would try different things, didnt work, return to 219, and try walking it up again etc. changing so many diff things. i am at 2:10 though. tried bouncing around to 2:8 etc. trying everything.
EDIT:
everything except dumping copious amounts of Vcore. I could probably get it to pass with ton's of CPU voltage, but I am in the 1.4's wiht 219, why would I need to go well beyong 1.55 to get 220 to pass?
yeah...sorry...can't answer that one for ya....you can either try or continue messing with 1.4...you might get away with it with one card...but being stable for multiple runs...not gonna happen. (speculations of course)
the whole purpose of get it colder is so you can throw volts at it...then you can always work your way back down once you actually get it to run...your chip can go well into the 1.7+ range... just ask awalleyeguy and if your feeling nervous..just use vdroop....untill you can find out what the chip is looking for...you can't really go to much further ahead....(speculations of course)
