tucker147 That's sweet! GL with the E762. I can only hope it goes this smoothly for my X58A-OC. Tried to boot it up one day and it just gave a 00/88 post code. Swapping out the cpu (eg. from 32nm to a 45nm chip or vice versa) without clearing the cmos will get it to boot into bios/windows but it dies again soon afterwards. I'm pretty sure the bios chips are toast. I have a few new chips on the way to try, I have my fingers crossed that they will get it running smoothly again.
Halo_003 Hallowen you are crushing it sir! I assume you say "would have" because FM HOF doesn't accept unrecognized cards/drivers?
Halo_003Are the BIOS chips soldered on or in a socket? Either way replacing them might be your best option. That's odd it boots if you change the CPU out, it must be something relatively minor if it POSTs successfully.

I should get the new ones this week hopefully.
