Scarlet-Tech
I have some news.. My phase Change is in for repairs and upgrades right now, so hopefully I will get that back in a few weeks, and I can start running the test bench a lot more often without needing to go get DICE.

Sounds good Scarlet, Glad you found someone that could fix the Vapo!

How about this Closed Loop (Almost) LN2 Cooling System made by Kingpin?

Hallowen, this giver you any new ideas for your clocking setup?

Unfortunately as TiN and Vince have found out (so far) with the "Limitations" of the GP104 GTX 1080, It doesn't make a lot of difference using even LN2 Cooling.
Not to mention the fact that Nvidia STILL hasn't posted their Enthusiasts Key Website (or SLI HB bridges) to find out IF they actually have a fix to run 3/4-way SLI with these GTX 1080's.

If these options don't become available even when the GP102 1080ti's/Titan's are released, I probably won't see myself constructing/participating anymore in what will surely become known as a Lost Art, But then again I don't Know........

True, granted I remember reading that TitanX wont clock well, and all this and that, yet you ran the chilled setup and got to what, #6 with some solid clocks.

Not ready to throw in the towel yet, things can definitely change.  Get it colder should NEVER DIE!

Yeah, I did find those GM200 Titan X HC's still had some Overclocking Headroom and responded well to modded Vbios's with more voltage and Colder Temps.

I just think that Nvidia has released these 1080's with the initial clocks too close to their maximum to start with, Leaving very little room for improvement no matter what temperatures/voltages are used.

I even noticed in a few articles that the (rumored) initial clocks for the upcoming GP102 1080ti and Titan are going to be apparently lower than these first released GP104 cards, But whether that means more OC'ing room will be available and better response to cold and voltage would be just speculation on my part.

I think this is similar to what happened with Intel's i7-4790k Devils Canyon CPU. Factory boost to 4.4 GHz boasting 5.0 GHz easily reached even on air and yet nobody can get one of these stable at 4.8 GHz no matter how much voltage they use. I can get 4.8 or 4.9 but even if I ram 1.5 volts down its throat it will never be completely stable and BSOD at least once a week.
