II cant suggest between routing vs lapping, but lapping is much safer as far as material removal. It will be a more uniform finish then hogging material with a router. Know thyself, what are u capable of?

Lapping is probably safer. I was also thinking of having a machine shop do it.

What the @#$* did you do to my card! That 295 was supposed to be mine someday when you wanted to sell it.  Now nate has the only cherry 295 left in the world.
