ya...I'll keep testing, but not gonna burn a whole lot more LN2 on it.  Really waiting on a 680 classy...any month now

I just hope that 680 classy has the same footprint as the 580 classy.  6lbs of copper would take LOTS of LN2 :)

Yeah, it may also be easier to just do a new top for it though, that would be up to you though. I picked up an EK E762 4 Way block for $5, but it has no screws and it has the first rev. top on it that won't allow GPUs because the block is too thick. I was thinking I'd see if you could machine it down to the level needed or just replace the top.

hey guys, i have been reading thru this thread and i have just got upto the part where i went MIA for like a year and i want to personally thank Natemandoo and halo for their concern when south east QLD was flooding. fortunately i was nowhere near the floods at the time.
 
however i was huddled in our bathroom with my ex GF and older sister for my birthday when Cyclone Yasi (hurricane) passed thru our citi in early febuary 2011 hehe
