MUCH better! Excellent work!

If Rabid still reads here, I think he'd like to know I'm getting some help from Gray Mole to build a possible dual stager..

Yea i still am here and have been keeping up with the thread. College has just eaten up so much of my time that i haven't posted anything (let alone benched anything) pretty much since summer. But you definitely got my attention with mentioning dual-stager.

And hopefully this semester of college i will actually bench some. Last semester was my first of college so i didnt bring any benching stuff. But this semester I'm taking some gear back with me and my dewar.

Gray mole is still around huh?

Yeah he's helping me out over on XS with a design, not looking too bad right now. Preliminary plan is 2x 3/4HP compressors and maybe a Kayl evap. Shooting for -100C @ 300W load, would be happy with -90 though.

Oooooohhhh I like the sounds of that. Is he just helping with the design, or would he be the builder as well?

Now to all of you. I'm planning/hoping to actually get a rig for 3D. I only have a few more chips on s775 that i want/need to bench, and after that, i am probably gonna sell most of it, and buy a setup for 3D. My question is, assuming i am ready to get the 3D rig before IB is out, should i get a SB/z68 setup, or wait for IB/z77? Like how much of an improvement will IB be over SB? Since it is a die shrink, do you guys think IB will clock much better than SB?

Also, is SB-E worth it over SB? In benchmarks at least? Is the biggest advantage the pci-e lanes, having 40(i think?) on-die instead of 16(i think?) on-die of SB?

Thanks Halo, Although It Took More Work and additional Enginnering than I had Planned on to Assemble the EVGA Classified Water Blocks/Backing Plates onto the Original Air Cooled Ultras!

I had a talk Last Night with the EVGA Tech Reps on a Few "Assembly Problems" where the original GPU Spring Tensioner Screws either from the Original Ultra OR from the Backing Plate Kit DO NOT FIT the Classified Waterblocks (Too Big) and How I had to do a little "Improvising" on My Own (Which is Nothing New to Me) in order to Properly assemble the Water Block and Backing Plate that is Required onto the Original Air Cooled PCB!

It Would have been MUCH Easier to just Buy the Classified Hydros already assembled, But They Still don't appear to be available Yet Anyway!

Thank God for Newegg and Performancepcs.com or I Still would be Waiting for Them from EVGA.

Not Bad for this New Chilled Water System that I've Only had running for Two Days, Hopefully It'll show some additional potential when I start Pushing it Further!

Right Now it's Time to just Sit Back, Crank up the Volume and see what happens Next!

Nice Hallow! Keep it up!

Rabid: He's just assisting with the design/parts picking, I'll be doing the actual assembly.
