i found that i needed less cooling...i had to keep baby sitting that NB/SB block like it was a needy child. constant water building up and trying to run down the sides...not to mention underneath it... if my MB was fully water proofed...i wouldn't care...but it isn't..so i really care!..lol. guess when im done serious benching....ill put it back on.

John, sounds like you need to "get it warmer"

Volk, define more cooling?

Sounds like somebody needs to buy some kneadable eraser or plastic spray ;)

@nateman
1 block Northbridge, Southbridge, 1 grouping of the vregs.
Been trying to find a good path but there are so many caps in the way

why do you think i was asking you about the foam and stuff...

and vok wants a full waterblock like the one you made...including the vreg

edit:
yeah, what vok said both times.

but i was looking for something simple to keep the block dry...in the end...i rapped it with paper towels and that seemed to work pretty good.

you know what works best for me?  running chiller water through the rads.  it air conditions the entire case and decreases the humidity.  At least now its 30% humidity in the room.  I got my graphics cards out on the desk and inspecting now.  I see no problems.

Volk, they don't sell vreg blocks for that board?

Nobody sells anything commercially for this board, maybe something would fit the board but nothing is made for IT specifically.

I am staring at this image and the choke point between the cpu mounting hole, cap, and relay seem like its going to be a problem.

Yea that was one of Dunieks Custom jobs, he has access to one hell of a CNC machine at wherever he works

and yes that choke point has been killing any ideas I have had except going EK style with a acrylic bridge
