Hehe.. Once I get back from Tropical Smoothie I'm gonna have the CM 800W PSU set up to run the second CPU 8 pin connector and the second card.

No such thing as overkill.

You will have to forgive him, he doesn't know how we roll in this thread.

I has THREE power supplies, all PC Power and Cooling (1500,800,750)...  and none of them have even turned on in over a year.  SHAME on me.  My CNC has been getting overclocked more then my computer(s) and occupies ALL of my time.

Holy crap Nate.. Take a weekend and get some benching going! I'm gonna have to order a dual PSU connector too.. I couldn't boot doing it manually lol.

Side note: Does it mean anything that I just booted with QPI Frequency at 5.866GT/s?

Will limit you overclock via B-clock stick with 4.8 IMO.

Gotcha, I was just curious I'd never tried that before.

paper clip on the 24 pin the green wire to a black one on the PSU not connected to the mobo and it should work fine. Don't waste money on an adapter that does the exact same thing...

P.S. Looks like you got a steal for a bstock card putting out clocks like that already. I can't wait until you get both on water.

Nope that didn't work.. When I did that the main PSU wouldn't start.

And yeah, I've been really impressed with this card's clocking ability so far.

Hmm realy? I've done it before with running two PSU's and jumping one. Did you flip the switch on both, wait a sec, then push the computer power button? That should work.

Yeah I did. I'm not sure what the issue is.

Most likely human error.
