Heh IMO the 590 was a failure, if I was gonna get a dual GPU card I'd get a 6990. Right now I'm thinking I'll upgrade platforms when Ivy Bridge is out, and get the top end Single GPU at the time.

I'm thinking about benching the 295 again. Still not sure what's up with this CPU though.. 4400Mhz @ 1.33V is perfectly stable, but it doesn't seem to like 4500Mhz or higher. When I set Vcore at 1.4, it only gets to around 4525Mhz, however it's definitely not a voltage wall. Confusing, yes?

CPU VTT doesn't seem to affect it either. It's giving me a bunch of issues lol. The BSOD it gives me is one that indicates Vcore, but that's obviously not what the problem is.

Oh yeah, and I have 2 GTX 260 Hydro Copper 192 (65nm, volt controllable) versions I can bench if I get bored.. And another 920 with a stock voltage of 1.22(I think). I'd just have to work up the courage to pull down my WC loop, which is a total pain.

It's really tempting to do that honestly.

once you slap that pot on a few more times...you'll drop the case all together. then you will notice water cooling is a lot more "user friendly"

I kinda want to get a Dimastech bench.. Would be nice to have it all that simple.

have you had a chance to put this machine to work. meaning...earn it's keep. because it's sure keeping you busy.

I will be using the same motors and some other stuff, but I need new metal slabs, going with linear bearing rails, and this will have close to TWO FEET of travel in both X/Y and far more accurate then my current machine.
