Yes and no.  I can put my whole system next to an open door.  Idle GPU temps last night were around 16-17C.

The only issue with that I see, is when you bring it inside (unless you waterproof your board)

Well when you bring it in do not power it on til everything warms up and dries. Shouldn't take more than a couple hours.

Yea, I'm with you on that...That's exactly what I do.   I did this for the past two winters without any problems.  I'm usually not turning the computer on for at least 18 hours between sessions.  My version of a cheap water chiller!

a friend of mine and I are working on running a transmission cooler outside his house as the rad to his watercool system.  I am quite interested in seeing the Overclocks possible when its 27°F outside.    Needless to say he is going to have to use some prestone

we can work on this thursday night when you stop by, you may want to bring your torch and pipe cutter :-)
there will be NO PRESTONE OR WATER in the loop.
what there will be is 2 trans cooler rads with 10 inch fans on each loop. one that goes outside for winter time free chiller and the other that will go to an ac chiller for summertime chilling...

we will be sure to take lots of pics of the progress and show out temps before and after !!!
