Unless you want to invest in the tools to build then I would talk to RunMC or Sdumper.

building is not cheap!
my tools alone are about 2500 dollars with deals and hookups.
 
you can buy a ss for like 265 bucks right now...someone is selling one or was in the market place.

@Nate: Your block building is getting much complex. Like said, it may be worth your while to look into the cost of having someone nickle plate your blocks.

The CPU block industry is probably much harder to get into, but if you were to attempt it, you may want to look into the cost of getting EDM notches put in copper for impingement cooling.

IIf you were to tackle the CPU block industry, you would probably want to add flare to your blocks to set them apart. I am sure it is technically possible to add tri-color LEDs to a block which would change color based on CPU fan speed setting when plugged into a CPU fan header.

How do you know if a phase hange unit is adequate? Just look for a 3/4 HP unit or greater and hope that the rest is built well?

I would probably start with my old X58 and 965 with one of the many cheap video cards I have laying around.

Really you want one that is tuned for a specific load. Ie I want my SS to be -40C @ 300W load.

yeah, that's not gonna happen...lol
not with a 1/3 or 1/2 hp compressor...lol
 
im running a 1hp compressor & dual condensor and i can bench a 980x at about 5.2 ghz cpu test vantage. 
 
the best i could do with my vapo chill was 4.775 ghz.
