Looks great Nate. I think you should look into nickel plating the copper parts though..

Any thoughts on those specs John?

Keep working on them Halo...Parents that is.  They may not see any value in the actual end product, but sell them on the fact that it helps you to develop real world problem solving skills using mathematics, physics, geometry, engineering....the list goes on;)

Dang that plexi's awesome!

P.S. Nate if you ever want someone to help design more blocks (and ln2/dice pots too), hit me up with a PM or something. I dunno if i could help with the coding, but if i ever figure out a way to do that too, i would be able to be even more helpful.

Actually my dad is pretty supportive of me learning to build phase units surprisingly enough. I would need someone else to charge them as I'm not HVAC certified though. Ideally I'd build a little SS for 24/7, and either a dual or triple stage for benching.

Hell, if I made a decent SS I could sell a few.

you cant just sit there and let them charge it or else it wont get charged right. and it'sd not cheap either!.. you really only need someone to buy it for you...then charge away. they will try to charge it according to their specs and not yours. it will then be under charged for the most part. not sure if they will let you just sit there with a motherboard though...lol..mine did the first few times, till i learned on my own.

Interesting. Gonna have to read some more about that then. Any idea on compressor sizes/temps/watts?
