I will tell ya one thing I did learn so far. I don't mind sleeving my own cables, I sure am not gonna pay what alot of people want to do it. But after making a custom length 24pin cable, I will NEVER do that again.
What makes it worse is my PSU uses metal fittings to connect to the PSU and taking those apart to make my SATA power cables was an interesting task. I need to convince myself to chop the 24pin comming out of my PSU in half because it's WAY too long. But I don't want to sleeve all that cable right now. I might do it before I finish the rig, but I don't know yet.

i tried about 2 different pastes, one being a white paste in a huge tube for about $12 and OCZ freeze which costs the same in a tiny tube lol. Only improvement I saw during DICE was load temp during wPrime 1024 and SuperPI 32m, which gave me about another 50mhz...

damn, i think i got that same tube. (silicone heat transfer compound is what i got) but i use it for mixing with ic diamond and ocz freeze.

iirc, vinegar or ketchup work well for cleaning up copper.

I got back in under 30 seconds.  I would first recommend this stuff called Scratch out:

Then clear coat it.  I have a special clear coat for copper that I use to coat all my stuff, but no reason a regular clear coat won't work to lock in the shine.  Yes vinegar and baking soda works instead of the polish, but keep an eye on it, it will do really cool stuff to copper-but not good.
