I actually was talkin to my a/c guy about it on the phone today, he's comming over to service my house a/c sat and we're gonna look at what I got and see if he has a evap core thats in better shape than mine and maybe convert one of my a/c units over.

On another note, I got my fittings today and came up with this:

Looks like it wasn't easy to make.  I like the idea, but seems very unforgiving though?  At least the copper tubing will dissipate some heat by itself (or absorb it)

that copper will be a straight heat magnet.

My first thought was it might dissipate some heat, but Johnksss might be right. Basicly I had the rig apart, saw those fittings and looked around and hadn't seen anyone usin em so I figured I would give it a try, I have enough compression fittings and tygon on hand if it doesn't work well. Making the lines wasn't all that bad, I had to buy a different type of bender, the one I use at work for making brake lines didn't like the soft copper. Basicly the copper tubing is $1 a foot, and I bought the bender at Sears, they have a lever action bender that is capable of 180 degree bends. I am going pure copper inside the case and tygon from the case to the rads. It is forsure not going to be any fun when I have to take it apart, but the base of the ferrel fittings have a swivel on them so not too too bad.

Well, I have an adapter I made to force the airflow from my Aux A/C unit into the intake of my case for when I want to drop the temps ALOT. When I mean alot, my DPCB 295's idle @ 25c on stock HSF. In that config the copper would forsure start to dissipate some heat.

it's only three copper tubes can't see it making a much difference losing or adding heat.
also painting it to any color you want world be sweet!

Actually there is 6, 3 on the board, 3 more attached to the case. From the pump to the HK, the Dom Cooler to the outside junction. and from the outside junction to the res. All my radiators are external.

And yes, if I attached it to a chiller insulation would be required, but atleast for now thats a seperate project.
