i was trying to get patche's xeon chip on ebay but got out bidded in the last 10 seconds...it went for 610.00

Have you downloaded eBay "Countdown"  it's awsome for last second bidding.  Best way to win on eBay is to not bid until the last 10 secs and put in the most you are willing to pay. 

well, that's what i did...but it wasn't enough...lol there is another guy selling i7 965's for 620.00 buy it now (montreal - 5 feed back score), but patch had a xeon for 499.00...i hate bidding though.

But I think it will boot Windows at 5ghz and run stable because he had a Xeon w5580 for sale for 1K that he said was stable on water @ 5ghz... he has connects with a lot of suppliers. He's a great guy... and has helped me a lot.

BTW... unlocked chips have no problems booting at high clocks... but I'm sure you know that seeing how you had one. My w3570 can boot at 5 ghz easy.

nah. i never really got a chance to get busy with that chip. and now i have far more knowledge...i don't have one....i was noob the first time...lol...still am, but not as much as then.

ps: already passing folks on gpu scores...but but they have me because of ln2.....i think i need phase in my life.

LOL... is this the listing... I was watching it... but I figured $1875 for the phase rig is going to hard enough to scrape up.

run dual pumps
one in your case and one outside the case connected to a power supply. i used awhich is a 500 gph pump. also helps with filling a case with out turning on the main power. testing loops. the faster the flow that faster it cools a system..(just what i have seen so far)(thinking of getting a bigger one though)

 
This pump looks nice!  I need that filter for debris.  Got any links?
