what do you mean what do I think. It makes your chip faster do it. My board never could.

Never mind, apparently when you put a load on all eight threads it drops back to 22x.

What helps more in Wprime? Tight timings or high Mhz? RAM wise.

Hey Reggie, using the 23x multi right now, doing suicide runs for CPUz, what do you think about trying to use 23x for Vantage and Wprime?

So if you use 23 multi instead of 22 can you OC better than using 22?
I understand that 23 goes to 22 under load just asking.

I'm not sure really I was just using it for CPUz runs. When under Wprime, or Vantage it dropped to 22. Couldn't get over 4.4 with it like that so I went back to 21x.

not really sure never really figured it out to tell you the truth. It has something to do with the amount of power the cpu is pulling. with default settings turbo was designed to kick in when the cpus were loaded but thats not really the case with oced chips. That being said when you drop down to one core you can use the 23 multi freely set in the bios which is good for super pi runs just turn all other cores off. Youll be able to get away with more voltage that way too because your chip won heat up under load. My max cpuid on water is with one core and 23 multi hit 5ghz

Wow that almost makes the 970 reasonably priced.    Good thing Ipicked up mine through the intel retail edge program or I would be pissed.
