Lucky you I can boot at pretty much any temps I get at, but if I go colder than -40c I get hard locks at any settings I have have tried, havent been able to fiddle with it much, but I have got a pretty good system for keeping it at -40 ish under dice

it may just be me but when you get a lock still in the bios before changing any settings I started to worry,it could be that something on my 758 is getting to cold, not the greatest insulation job, been looking at a 4 way classy or a p67 classy, or I may just wait and see what socket 2011 or bulldozer can pull off and stick with what I got until then

Never had any CB or CBB until LN2.  Dice is great about that.  You can just dump it in the pot & go to town.  Also much easier logistically then LN2.

Let me know if you need a new adapter plate.

Yeah, I've gotta come up with something other than eraser.  Works good for my x58 board, but KP is right....transfers too much cold to surrounding parts.  My smaller lga775 & p67 boards aren't fairing as well as my big 1366. They frost up real quick.

Well, my 980x is off to intel.  I hobbled across the finish line for forum warz with a crippled 980x.  I managed some respectable scores, but not what I envisioned.  Hopefully I'm back in business before the warz ends early next month, as I'd like to put some icing on dat cake

Then I got two 3dm01 runs in on it @ 6.2Ghz....

what chip?!

That's my E8600 for 2001 runs, of course.  It goes to 6.3, but I haven't gotten it there yet, lol

hey Q, i just grabbed some of that dragon skin...testing it out now. i put it on a cheasy agp card. you know they have the old easy pull of caps and all...lol

but it filled in all the gaps. im thinking ...if we cover a full gpu in it..memory chips and all...i wonder how the vreg's would fair? after fring 2 of my cards to vreg mishaps..i covered them all up with eraser, then put a nice thin thermal pad and the water block back on and never had another vreg problem again.

and so far...this stuff flows way easier than liquid tape.

going to set my pot on it and freeze it down to -180C and see how it fairs then...lol
with no voltage.

I would think covering the ram chips would be fine. They get cooled by the migrating cold from the gpu anyway. Vreg I'd cover around, but not over. Then put thermal paste or pad on the vreg s, then your choice of cooler on top of that. (block, heat sink, etc)

Where can I get this stuff?
