Here is what I have been trying to do for the past MONTH:

Now if you have no idea what you are looking at I will tell you.  Aside from the Hershey kiss, It is just a hunk of Aluminum scrap 8x10.  You see the small 6" precision machinist ruler in the background?  That is probably just under a millimeter thick... and its standing on end!  Also, more important, there are no gaps of light underneath it.  After a month of trying to get this thing to within half a thousandth of an inch of precision, I have finally succeeded!

That means.... my CNC machine is a TOTAL SUCCESS!!!

yeah. this one pretty much blended right on in at airgas..i just had the mini-me version...lol. but they said it was a good one. so i was happy about that.
mine looks like these but without the ring around the top.

and that air port on the side makes getting the ln2 out fast without waiting for pressure to build over time.

what does your look like nate?

Yay!!!
You finally got it trammed in properly.

Not only will that give a better finish, you'll be able to have consistent chip removal which will enable you to up the feed rates and ensure a much longer tooling life.

Congrats on the Cnc conversion and dial in Nate !!!
