Thanks D, doesn't have much mass so I'd be happy with -25c. Only using this for smaller gpu's 9500gt, 9600 and maybe 9800 gt. Can't see trying my 260 on it though.

Any word about Forum Wars???

I checked 411 and trp earlier today and didnt see much of anything new.  Do we start tomorrow subitting scores at stock speeds or what?

BTW, if your custom block can get those small cards that cold i'd say it would work fairly well on a 260. 0C or better since its only on the gpu.

If it were me Threed, I'd go right to the best gpu and see what happens.  Looks good on the Ghetto pot

Here's how I insulate my cards, the gasket around the GPU being the most important part.

Nice Threed. That looks pretty sweet.

So boys, I think it's time I started using benching OSes... What to use? I'd like a 7 64bit and a XP 64bit. Also how do I set it up to run 2 versions of Win7(one 24/7, one benching), and an XP... All on a single 1TB drive? lol.

I really wouldn't bother TBO, Halo.  Overrated

How about making another account on the computer then? For just benching. That might be useful.

Btw, sweet pics Q.

I got a whole bunch a crap loaded on one of my win7 os's that a strict traditional bencher would say is crazy.  Games, steam account, antivirus....I've never seen it make a real difference.  Runs benches the same as my clean os's.

That's just my experience, but then again I'm not WR holder in superpi either, lol!

Interesting.. I wonder how big a difference it really does make. I'm not really interested in 2d atm, my CPU isn't good enough for that lol..

Hey Q
I'm assuming that prep is for a pot due to the thick gasket around the gpu.  If I insulate my cards for a block do i just need to prep it with eraser? Or does anything need to go over that?  Seems like it cant be to thick or the block wont make good contact with the mem, vregs, etc.
