I haven't heard from hellshealer in quite a while.  It just dawned on my he is in Australia, the land of biblical flooding as of late.  has anyone heard from him?!

For my slim I'll be waiting till after March 1st at least, find out if I got accepted into boarding school then. Oh and a company with about 250 employees is looking to hire me as a hardware tech.

didnt grab the slim yet because i was debating on getting a sandy bridge setup...still debating on things there..

I feel like such a slacker, I haven't benched in MONTHS.  I have equipment here just collecting dust.  This CNC machine has been a biblical undertaking which has taken all of my free time.  I am dialing it in though and once its complete, I can make any waterblock I want; chipset, vreg, cpu, gpu, anything.

Consider all that time prep time, nate.  Now you're all prepped and ready to go

I am cooking up something brand new though...  another 10 lbs pot.

Well after being on here with Nate so much and him sharing his projects it started to rub off on me.
Been working on this project for the last 2 weeks or so. Yes I'd love to have a Tek-9 fat but @ $220  I can't afford it right now. So I thought I'd try seeing what I could whip up. Before this I had no clue how to solder copper only the stuff I'd done with an iron. I used a pen torch I got for $10, a few shims of copper from home depot and an old CPU waterblock I had to grind down with a rotary tool. The block is about 1/4" thick with a 1/2" stand off in the middle, the total cost was around $35 to make it . Plan on using the pot with DICE within the week. I want to see what kind of temps the pot will hold with and without load. Not expecting to much out of it but we'll see lol
