yet......

I like the way you're thinking. I'm actually thinking about trying out a TEC. I have an extra CPU block so it'd be easy to add to the loop. Just need a pump so I could run two loops and an air cooler. Then The cold side of the TEC would face the CPU block while the hot side dumps heat into the HSF... Would be interesting for 24/7 usage.

sounds like a plan...when do you make it happen?

Well I tried CPU VTT all the way up to 300+ and Vcore all the way to 1.65v. I did start to notice that on CPU test 1 lasted a bit longer than before but it still got stuck. Anyone got any more suggestions ?  I think I need more Vcore but I really do not think it would be safe to keep pushing higher.

Thanks

I dunno I'd need a second pump and a good HSF so, more likely/simple would be DICE but it would be fun to play with.

You probably could go higher, I think as long as you're under 1.7 it's alright.(For subzero)

VTT... Tricky thing. Maybe try above 300. It's really just guesswork.

You could probably snag those 2 things in the marketplace fairly cheaply.

On another note, i am getting so ancy to get paid. I need to finish up a few things, and once i get the $, i can say hello to a beautiful SS.

Good idea. lol.

Nice! What rig are you gonna run it on?

Jealousy. lol.

Probably gonna just bench with it on all my s775 stuff, but i am not opposed to putting it on my i7 though, for 3d benching. But i have a ton of 775 stuff to bench with: Gigabyte EP45-UD3P, DFI LP UT-P35-T2R, Biostar Tpower i45, e5200, e7200, pd 915, p4 660, Crucial Ballistix D9s, and right now i am trying to work out some deals for a few more D9 kits, and also a q6600. For gpus i have x600xt, 3x 8800gs, 8800gtx, 9400gt, 2x gtx260, gtx480. Then of course my i7 920, Classy e760, and 3x2gb Kingston ddr3 2000 ram.

Holy $h!t i just realized i have an absurd amount of hardware...

lol you suck. I have:

i7 930, E758 mb, Dominator GT 2000, GTX 295, 8800GT(with hr03gt). In a rig in Chicago being used by my dad is a X58 micro, HD5770, i7 920 C0, and 12 gigs OCZ DDR3 1600.

A CM V10, various fans, a HWlabs Black Ice GTX 480(rad), EK Supreme HF cpu block, Swiftec Apogee GTZ cpu block, EVGA E758 nb/sb block, EK FC-295GTX. lol. Oh and a Laing DDC 18W.

I have a really humble rig.  It is in a mid tower case and doesn't usually compare very well to other enthusiasts who have similar hardware who have a fully decked out system with a real full liquid cooling system.

But to my surprise, look what I just noticed:

I have the fastest CPU-Z speed of any liquid cooled 965 on HwBot (and that is with just a H70).  There is one guy though who has a faster speed using "chilled air".
