Yea, not a good stocking stuffer, Halo.  My daughter wants an iphone4, or ipad...yea right.  The only person in this family that's going to get one of those, is me!  She'll get a kindle and like it.....maybe.  The wife thinks paper books are the only way kids should read.  Any avid readers here care to comment?

Personally it hurts my eyes to read long term(4+ hours) on anything but an actual book Q.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for a Tek 9...

KP's ram pot is really the only commercial one, but you could probably message any pot builder and ask them to make you one.

Subzero ram is probably the trickiest and most dangerous though. And has the least payoff per temps...

It's a gimmick, lol!  Just makes good pics...

Thanks John, I've spent 2 weeks digging into this stage, funny to think my i5 750 @ 4.8GHz scores higher than my i5 655k @ 5.2GHz. Learned a lot about 3d2001 tho.

2001...The first and probably the hardest benchie.  Running the tests out of order, resting between tests....That's one you really have to dig down and learn.  I never did, lol

This step for me was the BIGGEST pay-off in 01.
Thanks for the kind words

Thanks reg.  Good to see you back.  It's not really work...fun to me....most of my friends think I'm crazy, hehe.  My 50l last's me about 15-16 hours.  I've only done it twice so far, but next week is looking good for another go around.  I probably waste a lot  just learning the ropes.  Have you ever done LN2 before?  It's definitely a different pace of benching, and it's not as easy as I thought it would be, lol!

pm'd you.

Nope never been colder than -67 or so but I got a ton of insulation and crappy mobos to practice on, thanks for the link if all goes well might look into it.

*ears poke up*  que?  I think ram has the biggest payoff though as far as tweaking.  It can make huge differences just changing the divider.

I finally get the  ball screws for my X & Y axis, just in time to have foundation work done in my basement.  Now I can't touch anything until next weekend!  grrr!  damn water damage!

I 100% agree that ram has a huge payoff from tweaking. BUT, what i meant was going from air cooling to dice/ln2 cooling has very little payoff. That's why i said "payoff per temps."
