+1 to that, I've never seen the inside of one of those before.

Nate thanks a lot... Your CPU list made my wishlist expand to include a X5670.. lol.

both of you, and most people who don't own one, have never seen the internals. You know why? K|ngp|n doesn't like anyone taking pics and posting his internals desing. Not sure if there is a contract you have to sign or anything (lolz), but it is just kind of known that KP doesn't want people showing his design.

But actually Q, would you mind giving the outer dimensions? Height, depth(as in how far off the card it would stick), width, and thickness of the "base" that juts out of the pot?

Yup I know the deal, It would be cool to see though, I know whenever I get a Slim I won't post a million pics of the internals lol.

Q can't give us internals but you want him to give us the cad file pretty much, lawl. If anyone is that determined to copy KP's pot they would just buy one.

If anyone hasn't seen internals of KP's new pot here it is, I think the base names are Slayer and Rocket.  http://www.overclockaholi...=3692&d=1287356632

Grats on your Tek-9 Q can't wait to see some boints with your 580 on Ln2

Lol Threed. But the reason i want the external dimensions is not to copy it directly, but rather to have a starting point. Cpu pots are much easier to dimensions than gpu pots. I have already designed 8 or so cpu pots (though have not produced any b/c i don't have access to CNC, until i go to college). But I have no idea what "good" dimensions are for a gpu pot. I am in no way wanting to copy KP; i love designing stuff myself. I actually an a senior in HS and plan on going into Industrial Engineering/Design. But to have a starting point makes it 100 times easier, especially when different gpus are different dimensions.
