Well Sniper and Reggie left around the same time, so we lost tons of points from that.

I just need the other top 12 to leave so that I can be in the #1 position.    I already jumped up two positions with Reggie and SniperOZ gone.
 
Why did Reggie leave?  He is still around this forum at least, right?  I am so far behind the times.

Can I RMA it even? I thought you can't when water damage is concerned.

That's when you act stupid when you rma the card and don't tell them it has water damage, trust me you aren't the first person to kill a card with water. Or you could tell them it has water damage and get nothing

They sell on eBay for $250, if you can't rma and get a dual they don't seem so precious... But if they gave you a 480 gtx that's different

on a brighter note i just installed a H70 to my 980X and i must say its quite good. beats my megahealems by about 2-6c across the cores

Halo, Sorry for the 295 issue. 
 
I would take the card apart from the water block and inspect for damage.  There might not be any damage, so I would let it dry a few days.  You could speed up drying by artificial means if you like (hairdryer, heatgun), but don't get too close!
 
Oh, there are dualies left over for RMA purposes.  They stink though....you'll be lucky to get a good one.  If you end up going the RMA route, you will need to talk with evga to request the dual card, or else they might just send out a co-op.
 
 
 
 

The card has been out since Thursday, I've got the whole rig running on my ghetto test bench right now, so I can swap easily. Wouldn't it have been dry by now?

Should be, but did you take it apart to have a look?
