can any1 give me some tips for 3dmark 06? i am getting beaten by smaller OC's and C2D cpus
 
im running a 8400gs @700, no voltage increase yet
and a 980x @4.3ghz
 
ok i found it i OC'ed the ram to 520 and my score went up by about 320 LOL im now at about 23rd i need to get a pencil so i can OC it more

Oh , EDIT, I just saw you aren't using the GTX285 in your sig :)

hehe yeah, not for this session LOL also not using most of the hardware in my sig for my everyday rig..... must update that :P
 
also i shaded it some more and got 1.45vgpu and maxxed out rivatuner at 850mhz i need to find out how to get more cos this thing will go to 900 at least lol

well im in 9th place with 900 core with a score of 2555. i need to do more runs in XP for this to get any better ima go try vantage now but i think i will have to drop the clocks as it was artifacting in GPU test 4 in 06

no go in vantage at all i think it has too much voltage and it is just killing it as soon as it loads. then i get the hard volt mod done ill try and get it better
