also what drivers are you guys using on you 400 series cards. im using the latest ones on my 470 and they seem weird. in afterburner i cant go over 1.030gpuv with out getting a blue screen cos the nvidia driver crashes. and yea any ideas guys?

Hey Reg out of all those procs you bought recently, do have a dual core that clocks like crap that you could sell to me really cheap? I'm looking for a proc that i won't be tempted to oc too much to put in a folding rig.

na I only have 3 two are untested and one is my highest oc ever. Do you have a microcenter I picked up an e5300 for 39.99 there. Its a great chip. After this competition is over Ill see what I have and where it gets me I am sure to have something that works i can sell for cheap. Just for a folding rig? Do you have any boards that support 533fsb chips? If so p4s and celerons sell on ebay like crazy for under 20 bucks.

Thanks for the info. My problem would be if i got a chip, i would have to bench it first and see how it does. And if it even has a glimmer of potential, it would never make its way into the folding rig. LOL

My MC is 15 min. away. They have the e1500 for $30, e3300 for $40, and e5300 for $50. Interesting that your's has the e5300 for $40.

Maybe I had it mixed up bought all 3 there 3300, 5300, 7600 but now all I have is a budget board to bench on that I cant get to post after 1.6 vcore and for whatever reason can only change fsb through os even though its an option in the bios. But what do you expect out of a 50 dollar board. Spent 4 or 5 hours trying to load an os onto it last weekend, only to find out it had a old bios with something wrong with the sata controller. Hopefully my microcenter gets another truck in by Friday so I can grab a decent board and some more dice.

I doubt it will be ready but im working on a s478 system too, that will be worthy of its own post if I dont break it before Im done modding it.
