If that already exists, what would be the point of me making one?

I mean, make a cooler for the Biostar 5770 or Asus 5750 that i mentioned, that has a similar design as the 4850 single slot cooler. I can't just take a cooler off a 4850 and put it on a non reference 5770 or 5750, let alone a reference card of those types.

I esentially want the best possible cooling for the 5770 or 5750 in a single slot - neither of them come in a single slot variant. And there are no aftermarket single slot heatsinks.

I am considering it, but i really would only want it if i knew its oc'ing max, and it was high (higher than the bfg 8800gtx my family friend gave me, remember).

Wow, really? thats it? just a chip and 4 ram modules just right there together?  I was looking for a challenge ;)

There are also 4 ram chips on the back, but that doesn't matter really.

I would think the challenge would be fitting a fan somewhere in there...

Would it be possible for you to make something that can hold the fan from the stock 4850 cooler, like in the pic i posted above (posting here again so you don't have to scroll back up)

I was thinking of trying to get a hold of a stock 4850 cooler and taking the fan out, have you make a custom heatsink, and maybe a custom shroud.

Well, i have a special little build in the works and i want the most powerful card i can get in a single slot, 7 1/2" - 7 3/4" long with power connector; but i don't want to show my design yet. I wouldn't need you to do the block now, but sometime in the future when i finally get all the $ to build it.

Also, that floor isn't mine. That image i found on google.

Ah.. msg them and tell them to refinish the floor!

The Doo shop will be shut down from 24 July, until the very beginning of October (around 2 months).  If your still interested in it, we'll talk about it then-but feel free to keep planning.
