Been a rough month with my health, my brother passing away and moving. Was finally able to sell my 975 EE on the Bay and will be paying for and having my new 980x shipped later today. So I'm back but not in a big way yet. Things need to settle down a little more first.

Oh reggie. I forgot who it was that screwed you on that cpu deal till a several weeks ago. I bought a EK 760 Full mobo block from him and realized who it was when I saw his heat. He shipped the block but he bs'ed me on the shipping and ended up taking over a week to show up. Trust me that will never happen again.

Nate, how much would it cost, how long would it take, and how hard would it be for you to make a single slot full cover gpu block for one of the below cards? (for me) I would prefer an acetal (or similar material) top, not full copper.

SAPPHIRE 100283-3L Radeon HD 5770 1GB
SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100283VXL Radeon HD 5770 1GB
SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100283VX-2L Radeon HD 5770 1GB
BIOSTAR VA5775NHG1 Radeon HD 5770 1GB

ASUS EAH5750 FORMULA/2DI/1GD5/A Radeon HD 5750 1GB
SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100284VXL Radeon HD 5750 1GB
SAPPHIRE 100284L Radeon HD 5750 1GB
MSI R5750-MD1G Radeon HD 5750 1GB

EDIT: What about a single slot air cooler? Could you do that?

I would have to get creative with an air cooler, but not impossible.  I can mill .02" fins with ease, just time consuming...  Also fan selection would be most critical... I only know of traditional fans like 80, 92, 120mm etc.  I could mount a 92mm fan on that thing and it would BLAST air on it, but it would likely be bordering 2 slots.  I would have to look deeper into it though.

As for both water & air  blocks, I would have to see one of those cards naked in order to let you know.  Have a link to a pic?

Nate, could you make a single slot air heatsink for one of the 2 cards i mentioned, similar to the 4850 reference cooler?

If that already exists, what would be the point of me making one?
