Phase is more efficiant then a chiller purely from the standpoint of parasitic losses.

A phase cooler basically only cools the CPU or Gpu, and the refrigerant compressor .

A chiller cools the cpu/Gpu, the compressor, plus all the insulated lines, pump,  and reservoir, which all add considerable heat to the system.

(Horay, I was able to use something I'm learning in school)

I don't know if I or anyone else for that matter should listen to someone who wares a fake raccoon hat.

I think I might just go ahead and skip phase. Seems a bit expensive. I think WC is a better option for me, and also I can get my tek 9 + WC for ~$360. Add in a CPU pot for ~$200 and that's nearly a phase unit except this does more.

Might want to kick the AC in high speed today.

All you need is a lot of BTU's....  And a lot of insulation.

I have it down to 58 degrees in my living.

DANGEROUS HEAT EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON...
HIGH HEAT AND HUMIDITY WILL BE SEEN ACROSS THE AREA AGAIN THIS AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO RISE INTO THE LOW TO MID 90S AND COMBINED WITH DEW POINTS NEAR 70 WILL CREATE HEAT INDICIES OF 100 TO 105. LOWS TONIGHT WILL FALL BACK INTO THE MIDDLE 70S PROVIDING LITTLE RELIEF FROM THE EXCESSIVE HEAT AND HUMIDITY.

I would be more concerned with overall power consumption.  More juice required for the chiller.

speaking of chiller.....in the end...it can be made pretty damn efficient.
for the guy with one vga/cpu/nb-sb/vreg.

i ran mine set at 98F (max being 99F) and it kicked on a few times in over an hour period.(running furmark 1.80) time chiller was on..about 2 to 3 minutes max. (gpu max temp was 52C)
when doing regular stuff...the chiller never kicked on..with even doing a bit more than regular stuff. room temp..about 80F.
