I also have the Supercrap Talent 2000Mhz CL8, and experienced the same problem.  However, I could NOT get the system stable at their listed specifications.  I ran the VTT up to +400 and still unstable.  (Not my choice for RAM)

I have the Super Talent Chrome series 2000mhz cl8 stuff, and I finally got into windows on air at 4.2 ghz with the ram running at full speed, it took a vtt of +350 though, I hope I can get that down when i go dice

any guesses how long before a blue screen, core temps at idle 45c

Man i miss benching...  All you guys are having so much more fun then I am.

I have been so busy in the basement doing "stuff".  I am not even exaggerating that I probably have close to 50 lbs of copper in my basement.

Are you by chance amking any GPU pots....

Grats Nate you must have orders coming in like hot cakes!!!

You obviously still have no idea what you are doing. Everything you have bought and put in your system is crap by your own words and experience. Somewhere along the lines it should have sunk in that it's not the hardware but more likely the operator. Quit trying to get your system to run 24/7 maxed speed/settings. The memory you have will run 2ghz. I run mine at that speed 24/7. Obviously there is something else you are doing that is causing the instability. I'm guessing you're trying to run high bclk.

What's max "safe" vtt and nb volts for benching c2q on air? For cpuz suicide screens i am using 1.48 vcore, 1.5 vtt, and 1.5 nb.

Also, what other settings/voltages majorly affect cpu stability (besides basic/common stuff)? I am trying to get 4050mhz on my q9300, for the #2 spot on the bot. Coolaler has #1 at 4150, and i am pretty sure the only way i may come close to that is with DICE.

#2 on hwbot worth 10.1 points!

Still gotta figure out superpi though to try for WRs.

Not really, just working on some VERY heavy prototypes.  Actually I won't call it a prototype since its being made from copper.  I generally make prototypes out of Aluminum.  This is going straight to testing, but I am catching up on the projects that are behind schedule.

I started making a GPU pot, but put that on hold for a while.  It is unlike anything else I can tell you that.

Finally got around to benching my friend's stuff. Well, at least the 8800gtx.

Vantage: 9032
06: 15641
05: 24446

Nothing really good, but vantage will net me around 1 point (weak), 06 will get me around 11.5 points, and 05 will get me around 10.5 points.

And this is with no real tweaking at all (just upped the sliders in precision), my weighed down OS (i have a ton of programs, games, etc.), and my i7 at only 4ghz.

I tried 03 also, but got a paltry score. Why the heck is 03 so bad for me though?

EDIT: just submitted the 3 scores for a total of 23.3 points.
