They use painters tape on the pot then the installation tape. From what I've seen.

@ xxrabid93 Where did you get your DICE pot and how much did it cost? Also what type of sockets will it fit, looking for 755, 1156 and 1366 or if anyone else know where to get a good DICE Pot?

I know this guy who makes these really nice solid copper pots:

Let me know if you are interested... I will let him know, I am good friends with him.  In fact I live with him.  Here is the thread on his pot.

Yeah Nate I'm for sure interested, wasn't sure if you were making pots for other people . Only thing is I'm looking for something that's good with DICE (mostly DICE atm) and LN2. Also since I don't have many tools I need a pot that fits 775,1156 and 1366. Not sure how I would get you the money to you, I guess paypal? Maybe something around the $100 range, not sure how much copper costs... If I'm not asking too much let me.

Okay the PC I'm on wasn't showing the pics at first but now that I see them that pot looks amazing!!!

If you were in my situation (aka never used a chiller before), would you get a 5-6k BTU for around $40, or a 10-12k BTU for around $80?

Also, does it matter how much it has been used? Does it "lose" cooling capacity from being used alot?

EDIT: Do brands of A/c's matter for what we do?

q i am still amazed that no one has jumped on that 920 I would really like it but I also like having my credit cards paid off for the first time since college

I hope they stay indecisive until Friday
