Well I have a 1/5 arctica chiller maybe 4,000BTUs and it adds about 30-$40 more a month. The heat it produces in my computer during summer is a lot, sure not if an a/c chiller would do the same. It can add 10-20f to the room temp if I'm benching hard.

What would i need to convert my house 115v to 230v? There is a 24k BTU for $75 but it runs off of 230v, not standard US 115v.

isn't your drier on a 230v out let?
if so, get a y adapter and a very long extension cord and have at it.

provided your family is going to go for that

Lawl How much are you willing to help with your E-bill hahaha hope you have a job...

That's a really good point actually, that i forgot to ask. So, how much would running a 12k BTU chiller for, lets say a 6 hour bench session, 3 days a week, effect the e-bill? How about a 5k? a 24k?

running a portable ac for a month straight was like 250 bucks to the bill.
ac was 1300 btu

@ xxrabid93 Where did you get your DICE pot and how much did it cost? Also what type of sockets will it fit, looking for 755, 1156 and 1366 or if anyone else know where to get a good DICE Pot?

I got mine a while back, probably almost a year now, here at the EVGA Marketplace from a guy named Joey (not joeylasketti, joeyw something). I got it for $100. I am pretty sure it fits 775 ,1156, and 1366, as it has long holes where they mount, and the 775 is closest in.

A suggestion for a cheapish DICE/ln2 pot would be: http://www.koolance.com/water-cooling/product_info.php?product_id=972

IMO though, go over to XS and message Duniek or some other pot maker and get a nice budget pot from one of them. Some pot makers: Duniek, piotres, Otternase, and of course K|ngp|n (i dont think KP does custom pots though...could be wrong). Also some other places: Dimastech.it/en and ln2cooling.com.

Mhm well there's the Koolance CPU-LN2 V1. NOT for LN2 use though, DICE ONLY! It sucks so bad for LN2.

@ John, PM'd you again.

I like the Koolance CPU-LN2 V2 read reviews saying it's good for DICE and LN2 but it's more cash than I'd like to spend. Might have to break down and get the CPU-LN2 V2 anyway. Reviews for the CPU-LN2 V1 have a huge swing during the cpu tests fot both DICE and LN2, so that's not going to work for me. I'll have to look over at XS thanks for the heads up.
