do you think that pump will handle 3 rads though?
can you help me pick out some tubing and fittings etc?

that pump... goes through my 3 rads, and a chiller 8 feet away, and 3 feet higher.  (over 16 feet of 1/2" lines)  I have maybe a little over 2 gallons of liquid in that loop.  So to answer your question....  yes.

would it be cheaper to go seperate, or is that kit just really affordable? it seems i could build something cheaper couldn't i? or is this kit pretty hassle free.

... or should i just build my system from scratch? *BRAIN EXPLODES*

That one made me laugh!  I enjoyed that one... thanks.

I remember my first system... I had the same fears so I bought the Thermacrap... I mean Thermatake system... took it back the next day and got busy doing it right!  By the way... that Swiftech kit is the only good kit I know of.  But going from scratch would be my choice... not that hard really and you will enjoy the build and learn from it.

ok.. I will lay it all out piece by piece.  give me a few to get all the links.  just look at the product, not the price since you may be able to find them cheaper..

It seems that finding the 5970 block is alittle tricky, some of them have re-visions for VRM Cooling since they run extremely toasty.

i dont want to put you through more trouble then is required nate, if that system is honestly worth it, i'll give it a go, but how good is that CPU block, people are complaining about the bracket stripping for the i7
not to mention, you've already convinced me to watercool CPU after i was supposed to stay with H50! haha your killin' me here.

Like I said... I just like the form factor... I have never used one but plan on trying one.  It does have the same pump that Nate likes... but it is pricey.

I think if I had the case you have ( it is the big one right... double wide?)  I would get the dual pump res ( redundency) and functionality... talk about flow!!!  It uses two of those Delphi/Swiftech/Danger Den/Koolance... what ever you want to call them pumps!  You just take the cap/head off and screw them directly to the res... which looks very nice in the 5-1/4" bays. when you add some cheap LEDs (color of your choice...lol)  Who said I wasn't into looks???
