hummmm....what to do...wait for this new chip and grab another gtx480 and 2 water blocks or just get a 980x now...

The biggest bang for your buck is to at least get a block for your current 480....will set you back $130 or so and get you some substantial boints and hit P31k+ with physx.  That's where I would start, then if you got the bread, then start going crazy.

think i may grab a cpu and water block and keep running single card. single card is worth allot because you have a lot of cards to contend with.

Gentlemen, I just built the best "conventional" CPU water block in the world.  I did a side, by side comparison, and I DESTROYED my Heatkiller block.

Not like the "destroyed" that other people argue that this block is better then that block because of a 2° or 3° difference.... I am talking about DESTROYED by DOZENS of degrees (by load temps 20° difference).

No, but chuck don't have my HOME address.  Its Sunday...  Got a family BBQ going on soon.  I just don't want to release anything without having checked, double checked, and tripled checked everything.

mmhumm.  Performance still tops my HK block, but not by the astronomical margin previously thought.  Time will tell HOW bad the spanking is.  Right now, its just an whoopin' but to the degree of which, I will be certain by the time the sun sets today.
