Nate did you bench super pi in 7 or XP?

I benched superpi in XP32 for the E8400.

I like using LN2 no really for the serious gains, but also the ease of use.  Contrary to popular belief, I am not a fan of huffing acetone.  Plus I don't mind spill some on the board.  helps with temps and its relatively harmless.  Much more expensive then dice though...

so spilling is better than spilling acetone?
and i only use like 2 table spoons of that stuff for a whole days run. was i not using enough or something??????

i tend to use much more acetone.  maybe around an inch or so in the bottom of the pot.  You spill acetone, and it makes your foam get nasty.  You spill LN2, it just evaporates on contact with whatever.

that's good to know then.

when i did spill some, it just froze up and made much more ice around the pot. so i got one of those little mini funnels to pour in.

but yeah, i dont use much at all. just enough to cover the bottom (like about 1/4" or so). then of course the pot is near a window and the fans on the board seem to take care of any lingering smell or fumes.

While doing some wprime runs I had a test that passed and scored 4.296secs. I know it looks crazy but if the test passed should I even brother posting it on hwbot? Has this happened to anyone else while doing wprime? Second time running the test got me a BSOD.

na dont post it they will take it down. Its a fluke ive gotten scores like that when you do your next run check the results if you can you will see errors in the test. Someone will call you out pretty quick with a score like that not @4.3

delete it all together.
i would call you out on it...lol
as many runs as i did and other do...we generally know what speed you have to be at to even be in the ballpark...and that cpu speed aint even remotely close....:)

Fairly new to wprime and 2d tests for the most part, not alot of flukes in 3dmark lol. I knew something was wrong when top 920 is @ 5.3ghz and mine was 4.4ghz. Thanks
