381 days - disappointed with the time it took. Builder did say he's had a lot of personal issues so I guess it was just bad luck for my project....

That's a pretty nice looking chiller....a whole lot nicer than the one i just built.  How much does something like that set you back if you don't mind me asking?  Made by who?  xtremesystems guy?

That's one reason I actually didn't attempt a home brew, the unit is going into a really nice gaming room and I have a lot of friends in and out so I wanted something that looked as nice as it functioned. The price is hard to say I ordered a few other things that were totaled in with the chiller price. A guy from Extremeoverclocking forums made this for me. He's supposed to be about the best there is that's why I asked if he would build it.

As soon as I get an SR2 I plan to punish a bunch of 480's and a couple Xeons heh.

i know it was not worth the waiting process (even though most of it is over now) but damn, that chiller looks SWEET!.

does it do -30 ???

hummm, im going to ask the guy near me if he does ln2..if so...i may be closer to trying than i thought. his shop looks just like that one. where they fill all types of bottles....matter of fact...i think he does.

Sure does, he said the deicer/heet mixture started freezing up around -30*c.

Nate that is awesome. I think if I ever go LN2 I'll only get a 30L or so dewar. 50L is huge. Can you use it all even?

I completely forgot how to overclock a 790 :P

TOTALLY found the cold bug SHUT down temp.  it outright shuts down when the processor reaches a certain temp.

So I had to play around at first.  Really this stuff is so much fun.
