run a check disk first Q

i have had the 7E a few times and it have ALWAYS come down to videocard failure. if it was 8E then it would be video driver failure. if you were doin a single card run try it before you reinstall.

the 7E is basicly something to do with the memory allocation on the card itself. if you run OCCT on the card it shuld throw errors.

well im install win7 on my spare drive and hit up vantage with a GTX 285 AND A gts250HOPFULLY GET ABOUT 10 POINTS

I know the vid card is good because I switched to WIN7 and did a few extreme vantage benches and came with in a few points of my best score.  So it is probably something with the driver. like you said, or XP.  Well, It'll only take an hour to reinstall everything.  I have to clean up some boot sectors and old XP installs on the disk anyway, so I'll reinstall XP.  Hummm..in the time it's taken me to write this, the install is already installing devices

Edit;  That was pretty neat...took about 12 minutes to install XP pro with the 980x cpu installed.

hey im knew to this thread (but i read most of it it took 5 days!!!)

but i have an idea for a dice/ln2 pot

its alot like one of nates (the one that is stepped with the  holes)

so just tap the holes and use threded coper rods when you are using ln2 and then unscrew them for dice
