Well just about to give my first session on LN2 a crack

Putting my i5 670, P55 Classy & Corsair Dom GT under LN2
Hope i got my insulation sorted

let'er rip sniper!!

just to be safe, but can be a hassle....do 20 to 30 minutes, then break part of it down to check.
if all is well...roll with it till the wheels fall off!

uh oh, looks like i have some competition in the 670 category.  Be sure to post some frosty shots they are mandatory for all ln2 runs 

Well that was somthing....... its a difrent ball game using LN2

Just an easy run today to get a feel...went to 5845ghz on the i5 670
got a PB with SPi 1M 7.281 (screens are on another drive)
and Pi Fast 16.11

CBB at -90C was able to run stable at -170C for benching

Not a bad warm up start. 5845 put's you at 74th at HWBot. Highes clock is 7137 so you still have aways to go.

Sniper- dewar pics too!  when you purchased your LN2, how was it dispensed-and how do you dispense it?  I only ask because I am refining my own LN2 dispensing system.

It came in a big truck, the guy filled the dewar up and a way i went, as for getting it out of the dewar the easiest way is to just pour it in to a flask very very easy no fuss..... i must admit that was my biggest concern ....... my dewar is only a 20L i think from memory yours is a 50L!!!!! so not to sure how that will pour ....... best way is to just jump in and give it a crack ....

Yeah i'm playing it safe plenty of time to crank it up when i'm more confident...... also you can't just bang the volts up through some LN2 in and BAM shes at 6.8 ghz its a bit of a juggling act, with all the diffrent components ........plus now your watching the temp and pouring LN2.......

CRAP, im at work and I can't see the picture!  yea, I was worried about tipping over a dewar over 3' tall.  The pictures don't really do it justice.  When my friend stopped over last night he saw it for the first time and just stood there and stared at it-remarking at how large it was and how pictures just don't cut it. (volk/nordic-dont even)

I was wondering if they poured it as a liquid from a hose, or it was some sort of  compression fitting.  I hope it just pours from a hose but they I have to install my dispensing system (which im still trying out a few things) 

John, thinking of an improvement:

get longer screws, and some washers and put these in between the screw head and the back plate.  They are $1.31 each.  What you think?
