awalley. You were aking about the 470 voltmod. If you flash over to the Asus 470 bios then you can use SmartDoctor to adjust the voltage.

There like 5 bucks, but I just finished installing everything, just bleeding the loop right now. I'm not really going to spend more time hacking up this case, eventully im going to switch to a torture rack for a 24\7 case. Back to my crappy temps inside my Antec 1200 again though. Its 20f-25f warmer right now than it would have been at the same time less than a week ago

Give it another week or so and I should have enough money for a FC GPU block.

I think I'm going to be trying a slush box next.

WOW! awalleye, those CPU scores are just getting ridiculous.

Q, you just started using the chiller and already tearing it up!  I'm glad you got the 12K BTU, because I noticed my 5K BTU officially does not handle the temps.  They slowly begin to rise.  After an even of benching and I found that 45K I noticed that the chiller temps went up to 11F.  I guess it won't handle SLI that is, but CPU and single card is fine.  I just have to wait longer between benches.

your chiller was doing better than mine...:)

@Nate, the chiller is holding temps real good.  Last night it went to -27C in about 1 hour , and I was benching from -15C to -27C while it got up there.  It just stayed there all night.  Like I said before, once I turn the chiller off, I can get another 30 min of benching in until the temps rise to about 0C (32F).  I'll be trying quad sli soon...I'm only worried about the flow.  I don't know how to read the specs on my pump, but it's 1090 gpm, or 884 gpm @ 4ft, 660 ish @7ft, whatever that means....on paper it's stronger than the mag 7.

@awalleye, your cpu scores are insane!

@ John, temps on the cpu cores when running the vantage cpu tests are max 34C.  That's the highest core, the lowest is 20C.  4.85Ghz @ 1.85vcore.  I don't think I have a problem with holding temps.

@awalleye...I bet you're right on the physx test (physx disabled)...might be a memory issue.  But somehow my gpu is being implicated, as it red lights right after the test starts.  power?  Man, I hope not...pcp&c 1200w can't handle a CPU and single GPU?

cool...so if that's the case...then the voltage is in line and we aren't use to seeing it that high like the old days.
